Full Guitar Disclosure !
I paint guitars and I am selling these guitars as artworks, I am NOT a purveyor of fine musical instruments, I do not seek out, nor can I afford the great instruments made by the leading brands, I look for shapes. Some of my electric guitar are out-of-the-box new, some are old, some play great, some not so great but they all play.
The acoustics and classical style guitars are a mixture . . . poor old Mississippi John Hurt is a battered old acoustic that I glued together, but I like that and I think it suits MJH, he came across as a very humble man.
You will be able to knock a tune out of these beauties and a very nice tune on some, but they are, in general, average guitars. So, please understand, I’m just an old artist who loves these iconic guitar shapes and they have become my canvas.
I source and paint the guitars, gift them to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research and when someone pays the reserve price, or more! (and don’t forget the shipping), directly to the MJFF through my MJFF Fundraising page here: https://give.michaeljfox.org/juddotheguitartist I can arrange shipping of the guitar.
If you’re interested in contributing to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and getting a nice painted guitar as a consolation, the process is as follows:
1. Email me at juddotheguitartist@icloud.com and let me know which guitar you are interested in.
2. I will then gift that guitar to the MJFF.
3. You make the donation through my MJFF fundraising page: https://give.michaeljfox.org/juddotheguitartist
4. When donation has been made I will ship the guitar in an appropriate case.
I would love to have these artists sign the guitars and maybe pose with them for a photo but that would be a big bonus . . . I will try my best to make it happen, so, If anyone out there is well-connected in the music world and can help me, (and my guitars}, get in front of these artists for 10 minutes, to sign the guitars . . . please let me know. ALL Fundraiser Sale proceeds will go to The Michael J Fox Foundation (MJFF), for PD research. You can visit my fundraising page here: https://give.michaeljfox.org/juddotheguitartist
I will highlight the Fundraiser Sale guitars with the flash above. I will highlight sold guitars with the ‘SOLD’ flash
All the other guitars are also for sale, together with a 50 x 40cm print. Email me if you’re interested in buying.
